Since there were so many breathtaking pictures from our road trip around Iceland, I thought it deserved a second post.  Part 1 post from a couple weeks ago: Adventures Around Iceland (Part 1).

Biggest lava field in Iceland. The lava rock is covered with a thick moss.
A closer look at the lava field moss.
Flowers as far as the eye can see.

Hiking to another waterfall with a gorgeous backdrop.
I had rarely seen horses lie down, but it seemed very common for Icelandic horses.
Gullfoss, Iceland’s most famous waterfall. It’s an incredible sight.  For perspective of size, look at the people at the left.
Looking over Gullfoss. This was one of my favorite views in Iceland.
A geyser erupting in Haukadalur. The original Great Geysir (which gave Geysers their name) is nearby, but it’s dorment now.
This is Skógafoss, my favorite waterfall in Iceland. I could sit in front of this for hours.
Group shot over Gullfoss.
